Herts Alpacas Chubby Checker is the result of years of planning our breeding program to produce a home bred top quality champion male we believe will perform as his ancestors have before him and consistently produce award winning progeny. His heritage says he can do this and to look at him we expect nothing less. He is as near perfect as we have ever seen in a fawn male.

He is descended from Viracocha Prophecy on his sires side and Lavender Park Tulley from the world renowned Celtic Triumph on his dam side. Both these lines have produced champion after champion and we have joined them together combining desirable traits from both sides to complement each other perfectly. This resulted in Chubby Checker, a dark fawn male with no fading, perfect proportions and fantastic fleece traits which have earned him his high profile place amongst our award winning stud males.

First and foremost he looks the part … strong, boxy well balanced with good coverage and everything about him is as it should be, including teeth, toes and testicles. He is macho in the field and a pussycat in the pen. His fleece is super bright, extremely fine, very dense, long in staple and even in colour and micron. This and his bloodline is why Chubby Checker is such a desirable male. Sired by F P Uluru an outstanding male and sire of champions and born from one of our finest dams Toft Madison herself a multi champion and dam of numerous elite multi colour champions including Herts Alpacas Top Tottie, Herts Alpacas Brexit, Herts Alpacas Sahara and is also grand dam to Herts Alpacas Big Bopper now owned by Toft Alpacas.

We expect Chubby Checker to expand on the success of his ancestors and breed extremely desirable fleece traits and phenotype characteristics into his progeny
